Leader In Training (LIT) Program
The Leader In Training (L.I.T) Program at Rondeau Yacht Club is designed for enthusiastic and responsible youth looking to develop leadership skills while gaining hands-on experience in sailing, swimming, canoeing, and windsurfing. Open to Seasonal Member participants aged 11 and up, this program offers a unique opportunity to mentor younger sailors, assist in program activities, and build confidence on and off the water.
L.I.Ts play a vital role in supporting our morning programs by helping instructors facilitate lessons, demonstrating skills, and ensuring a fun and safe environment for all participants. Through teamwork, mentorship, and active engagement, L.I.Ts learn valuable communication and leadership skills that will benefit them in future roles.
